This is a reminder of our meeting tomorrow, 1/23. Our founder/alum, Christian Gabis, will be coming by as a guest speaker to discuss topics such as the current state of the market, some stocks he is currently looking at, and some do’s and dont’s with investing. Be sure to stop by Schoenbaum Room 320 at 7:30!

This is just a reminder that there will be no meeting this coming Monday since school is closed for Martin Luther King Day.

Hi Everyone, be sure to come to our last meeting of the quarter! It will be Monday, November 21, and we will be discussing current events, Futures/Derivatives, and also look at Think or Swim, a trading platform offered by TD Ameritrade!

Just to give you an update, our next meeting promises to be very interesting, since Daniel J Brown, an MBA student at Fisher, will be coming in as a guest speaker. Thanks to everyone who attended our first meeting! our second meeting will be this Monday, October 10th, in Schoenbaum Hall room 230 at 7:30. We will begin with the basics of investing, and also go over different financial statements, and current events in the market. Time allowing, we may also set up a CCIG account on investopedia, which we will manage through the year, and strategize with as a group. This way, we can learn from experience, and draw on the knowledge of those in attendance.

Just a reminder, dues for the year are $20 and this can be paid to Eric Chu, our treasurer, at any meeting.

Welcome everyone to Common Cents Investment Group (CCIG)!
